The Cincinnati Great Outdoor Weekend -- an initiative of Green Umbrella, features environmental education and outdoor recreation organizations providing a diverse sampling of the best nature activities in Greater Cincinnati. All programs are FREE and open to the public.

Green Energy Ohio welcomes the annual 2010 Ohio Solar Tour! Green Energy Ohio is the Ohio Chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), and GEO's 8th Annual Ohio Solar Tour is part of the National Solar Tour managed by ASES. This FREE statewide event on October 2 & 3 provides the unique opportunity for people to visit hundreds of Open House Sites and talk with owners living and working with clean energy technologies.

Green Home Summit at Cincinnati State, Health Profession Building, Nov. 13, 2010. The Summit, will be an all day event, that will feature educational sessions, a speaker of note (from HGTV), a tour of green homes, a trade show with 40-60 booths. More details to come.

The Cincinnati Regional Chapter is proud to be the host chapter the 2011 Greening the Heartland, scheduled for Wednesday, June 20 - Friday, June 22. “Greening the Heartland” (GTH) is a three-day conference and exhibition for sustainable building design, construction and operation practitioners as well as building owners throughout the Midwest. The conferences play host to hundreds of attendees and exhibitors from USGBC Region’s 14 Midwest states, who converge to learn the latest in green innovations and initiatives. Every year the conference provides opportunities for professional continuing education credits, exposure to the latest products and services, plus interaction and networking with ”green” building leaders in the Midwest.
